Visual Effects Specialist

Our studio is renowned for pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities- Create high-quality visual effects under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
- Produce dynamic effects that align with the artistic vision of the project.
- Design and implement simulations, such as fire, smoke, water, and particles, in shots.
- Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in CG animated features or episodic content.
- Applicants are expected to showcase mature, graphic stylization of reality in their portfolios.
- A demo reel focused on FX in CG animated films or episodic content is required.
- Proficiency in Houdini, Katana, and Arnold is essential, with knowledge of Maya and Nuke being an advantage.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and aesthetic sense to deliver high-quality effects.
- They should be able to efficiently execute lookdev and 3D effects, including customary CG effects such as particles, fluids, and destruction.
- Assistance in setting up and maintaining a library of effects presets is also required.
- Generating compatible caches and exporting effects in show-compatible image formats is a necessary skill.
- Training and supporting junior crew members may also be part of the role.
