About the Hospital

Epworth Hospital is a modern 109 bed facility located in the Western Sydney City of Penrith, providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000. Our hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

About You
  • Registered with AHPRA (essential)
  • Experience in perioperative nursing – scrub/scout
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Perioperative nursing
  • Current experience in clinical education in the perioperative environment
  • Post-graduate or Masters qualification in education (desirable)
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
  • Contemporary knowledge of best practice in nursing care
  • Highly accountable and supportive style
  • Passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
