Role Summary

This position entails overseeing a team of Vetting Analysts in managing complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a high-performing team assessing clearance cases and leveraging experience in vetting to build team capability.
  • Maintain attention to detail and manage complex processes effectively.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and document sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.

Essential Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).

Additional Requirements:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders is also essential.
