Job Summary:

Bechtel is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to lead a team of craft professionals on the Pluto Train 2 Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing craft activities, scheduling work, and coordinating subcontract work activities and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct craft activities as assigned.
  • Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished by each craft.
  • Determine workforce requirements and coordinate established area operational plans.
  • Monitor tool and equipment usage on the site and oversee the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
  • Ensure assigned construction operations performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years relevant field experience.
  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the installation and alignment of both rotating and static equipment.
  • Knowledge of EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor's (if applicable) responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H).
