About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Track/Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations hub based in Victoria.

Rail Operations is an internal Business Unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the self-delivery of all aspects of rail construction (Track, OHW, Civil & CSR), working with a highly experienced team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage costs and oversee subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports as well as interface with design management and construction delivery teams.
  • Uphold and promote the highest Health and Safety standards.

About You

You will have experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in rail & associated infrastructure, ideally having worked in a tier 1 setting. Leadership skills are essential for this role.

A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or construction management with experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, utility relocations, and stakeholder management is required.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
