Room Leader Educator

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Room Leader to join our team. Our centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities, both indoor and outdoor areas, and a strong community of supportive owners, dedicated educators, and friendly families and children.

Our centre is an established business with over 20 years' experience within the childcare industry. We have four centres located in Sydney and offer high-quality education and care services that are beautifully designed, boasting strong occupancy and a positive work environment.

The Role

As the Room Leader, your primary focus will be overseeing and leading an experienced team, pushing the centre to reach an exceeding level of service through support and motivation. You will be responsible for planning and programming, observation management, overseeing daily room practices, ensuring all compliance documentation is up-to-date, providing support and motivation to centre staff, and leading and developing a core group of educators.

Requirements

  • Completed Diploma of Children's Services or Equivalent (Recognised by ACECQA)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training
  • A Current Working with Children Check and NSW Police Check
  • A Thorough Understanding of Children's Services Regulation, The Early Years Learning Framework, and The National Quality Framework
  • Passion and Ability to Inspire, Motivate, and Maintain a Positive Learning Culture Within the Centre for Children, Families, and Colleagues
  • Strong Written and Clearly Spoken Communication Skills
  • Your Personal Teaching Philosophy
  • Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRTOOO1/2) or Willing to Obtain
