The Role

Your initial role as Compounding Technician will be to learn our quality systems and be involved in compounding. However, we seek someone interested in rapidly upskilling into the position of Lab Manager and running our quality systems and leading a team.

You will be reporting to the Pharmacist-in-Charge and working alongside a Quality Officer, Cosmetic Scientist, Operations Manager and other compounding staff.

  • This position is responsible for ensuring quality management is adhered to and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in processes and procedures.
  • Key responsibilities include preparation of non-sterile compounds, excellent time management skills, great attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Key responsibilities include fostering a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and communication, excellent written and verbal communication, clear English skills, stock control, self-motivated delivery results, ability to monitor and forecast stock control and orders, some dispensing, liaising with customers and suppliers, stability and microbial testing.
