This critical role contributes to NDIS access across rural and remote communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee completion of application paperwork for Aboriginal individuals accessing the NDIS.
- Gather appropriate disability evidence and facilitate assessments with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
- Manage interagency information sharing with the NDIA, including participant check-ins and planning meetings.
- Diploma-level qualification in disability, social work or related field, or relevant experience.
- Understanding of NDIS legislation, systems and processes.
- Ability to build strong relationships with local organisations, including the NDIA and mainstream services.
- Experience in coordinating services for complex and vulnerable clients, particularly those with disabilities.
- Australian driver's licence.
