Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Product Management group, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products, materials, components, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Production, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source alternative factory options for existing products, obtaining samples and quotes for all raw materials, product sub-components, and finished goods.
  • Identify and engage new factory options for new product design needs, requiring innovative solutions and partnerships.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing new relationships with factories in various countries, navigating cultural, linguistic, and geopolitical differences.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry.
  • Strong negotiation and evaluation skills, with the ability to conduct onboarding supplier audits and negotiate tenders.
  • Familiarity with custom product designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Design, Production, and Operations teams.

Success as a Sourcing Specialist is measured by finding multiple manufacturing solutions that meet quality and cost targets.
