About the Role

The Deputy Principal - Head of Campus is a crucial member of the College Leadership Team, supporting the Principal in all aspects of College leadership and acting for the Principal as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the College's Strategic Plan in collaboration with the Principal and other members of the College Leadership Team.
  • Co-lead the development of an exemplary learning and pastoral environment, aligning with the College's vision for learning & teaching and prioritizing the wellbeing of students and staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and other senior leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the College's mission and values.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and the broader community, in accordance with Catholic Education Western Australia's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Active membership of a Catholic Eucharistic Community.
  • Experience in Middle and/or Senior Leadership, with a proven track record of leading Learning & Teaching and/or Student & Staff Wellbeing in a Catholic secondary context.
  • Post-Graduate or Masters level qualifications, with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Innovative professional practice, with high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current VIT membership (or eligibility), with a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
