About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Operations Manager to lead our financial operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial accounting, including General Ledger Close Process management, monthly reporting, and supporting EOFY and Half-Year audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end GL close processes for the Leisure business
  • Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations and reporting to across the Leisure business
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reviews, including commentary and analysis
  • Support the Group Financial Reporting team with EOFY and Half-Year external audits, by delivering on the Leisure brand audit requirements.
  • Protect our business by monitoring and reviewing at risk items
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes
  • Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
  • Assist with special projects and the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives as they arise
  • Leadership Skills:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience with/in ASX listed financial reporting teams
  • Meticulous eye for detail and curiosity to explore
  • Strong manager/coaching/leadership skills
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
  • Team player who can motivate teams to excel, adopting our FCTG values
  • External Audit experience
  • Advanced excel skills, including modeling, use of power Automate and/or Power BI.
  • Philosophies to support our extraordinary culture.
  • CA/CPA qualified Highly desirable
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
