About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Lawson Elliott, a well-established chartered accounting firm located in Hurstville. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in managing the bookkeeping requirements for our clients, working closely with our accounting team to provide a smooth 360 service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bookkeeping and payroll functions using Xero and MYOB
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS statements
  • Process payroll and quarterly superannuation payments
  • Liaise with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face
Requirements
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll
  • Experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping firm, servicing clients
  • Strong practical experience with Xero and MYOB
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A positive and can-do attitude
