About this role

Our Ferny Hills campus is a warm and inviting childcare centre with a strong focus on sustainability and community engagement. We thrive in teaching children about the importance of taking care of our planet and its resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily information
  • Assist with daily room tasks, including activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Ensure high-quality services in accordance with the National Quality Standards
  • Guide team members in their professional development and individual goals

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
  • Valid VIT registration (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum two years full-time work experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing educational programs that value a holistic view of each child's development
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Valid employee Working with Children Check number
