Our Ferny Hills campus is a warm and inviting childcare centre with a strong focus on sustainability and community involvement. We thrive in teaching children about the environment and promoting a holistic view of their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the educational program, valuing a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintain ongoing records of the children's development, program, and daily information
  • Assist with daily room tasks, such as activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Ensure the high quality of services, considering the National Quality Standards
  • Comply with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guide team members with their professional development, individual goals, and performance

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
  • Valid VIT registration (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum two years full-time work experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing the educational program, valuing a holistic view of each child's development
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice
  • Valid employee Working with Children Check number
