Job Summary:

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our client's team in a manufacturing environment. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative and corrective maintenance, to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working order.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Communicate with team members and management to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade certificate with advanced certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining equipment and machinery in a production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
