The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Barwon. As a Speech Pathologist with Scope, you will work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools, delivering services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments. You will also work with children and young people in our clinics, homes, schools, and online, providing goal-directed therapy and communication assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering therapy services to children and young people with a range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.
- Working with a dynamic team of allied health professionals to provide holistic customer care.
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and carers to develop sustainable long-term solutions.
- Providing evidence-based interventions and services that build on customers' strengths.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced clinician who is passionate about working with children and young people with disabilities. You will have:
- Relevant experience in disability and/or community services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- A commitment to family and person-centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation.
