Financial Strategist

Job Overview

As a finance business partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to drive business growth and improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing financial projections and forecasts;
• Preparing annual budgets and monitoring performance against those budgets in consultation with senior management;
• Providing business partnering services to various units through analysis of performance metrics and offering insightful recommendations for improvement;
• Preparing and enhancing performance review reports;
• Leading the Authority for Expenditure (AFE) Process;
• Overseeing the nationalised billing function and developing strategies for improvement;
• Creating the Fleet Cost & Care (FCC) training program and conducting post-training audits;
• Performing other duties as directed by senior management;

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A CA/CPA qualification;
• Professionally trained within a large services firm (preferably Big 4);
• The ability to build successful business relationships across all levels of an organisation;
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written);
• Advanced data modelling and analytical skills;
• The capacity to comprehend, interpret, and manage complexity;
• Experience working with national organisations;
• Highly competent in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills; and
• Ability to work effectively with ERP platforms;
