The Opportunity

Our company has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Store person to join its team at Hemmant.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Order picking and receiving stock into the warehouse.
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as order pickers and forklifts.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles.
  • Labelling and storing parts accurately to meet customer needs.
  • Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to customers.
  • Packing and wrapping parts for distribution.
  • Performing general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous warehousing experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • LF Licences (Forklift) are also essential.
  • LO Licence (Order Picker) is desirable, as is mechanical experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team is crucial.
  • Eye for detail to inspect quality control of all parts before leaving the warehouse.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary.
  • Understanding of safe work practices (OH&S) is vital.
  • Automotive knowledge would be advantageous for this role.
