About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our Proactive Services team as a Cleaning and Trolley Collector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our store, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, as well as emptying bins.

You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas, working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs, and assisting customers in store by answering questions or providing directions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, and emptying bins
  • Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
  • Assist customers in store by answering questions or providing directions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical fitness and the ability to comfortably handle physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, including the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details
