Green Space Professional - Commercial Centres

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the beauty and integrity of commercial landscapes within the Northern Beaches Local Government Area.
  • Perform minor repairs to infrastructure in commercial areas.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe environment for the community.

This role is part of Parks and Open Space, responsible for maintaining Council-developed spaces that enhance community enjoyment. Key functions include recreation planning and management, reserve and commercial centre maintenance, sporting fields, tree management, asset planning and management, and business support and management.

Northern Beaches Council prioritizes the safety and well-being of children and young people. This role requires a strong commitment to safeguarding their protection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
  • A minimum C Class Driver's License with a good driving record, as you will be required to drive council vehicles to and from sites.
  • A minimum 6 months experience in parks & gardens, landscaping or horticulture.
  • A Chemical Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
