Job Description

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to lead our assurance program and ensure the availability and integrity of critical systems. The successful candidate will drive assurance activities, manage audit findings, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate technology risks.

The role involves leading the planning and execution of cybersecurity audits, tracking and reporting compliance metrics, and collaborating with technology teams to continuously improve security controls. Strong leadership skills are essential in maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cyber Governance & Risk Management: Ensure alignment with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and monitor adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Security Audits & Compliance: Plan, execute, and manage internal and external cybersecurity audits. Support auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance reviews and provide leadership in remediating audit findings.
  • Cybersecurity Assurance Program: Oversee and coordinate activities related to penetration testing, elevated access reviews, operational reviews, and firewall assessments.
  • Vendor & Outsourcing Management: Manage third-party vendors and services to ensure they meet security standards and comply with risk management frameworks.
  • Cyber Security Awareness Training: Develop and execute cyber awareness programs across the organisation. Create engaging training content and conduct regular phishing simulations and awareness campaigns.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and assurance services.
  • Experience in IT audits, risk assessments, and working with cybersecurity tools and controls.
  • Hands-on experience managing cybersecurity programs, audits, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, ASD, and related security directives.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management (ISO31000), networking protocols and system security protocols.
