Job Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic within our growing community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage infrastructure planning and deliver solutions that improve safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Leading traffic engineering investigations, managing infrastructure projects, and implementing solutions to enhance community safety and efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Current unrestricted C class national driver's licence.
  • Minimum five years' experience in relevant roles.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of civil design and project management principles, particularly in traffic management and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to develop and implement business systems, policies, and procedures to enhance organisational asset management capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Local Government budget preparation and implementation procedures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Local Government Act, Australian Standards, and other legislative requirements.
