At Capecare, we are seeking a skilled Allied Health Professional to join our clinical team.

This is a leading provider of aged care services for seniors across the Southwest region of Western Australia. We deliver high-quality care and accommodation in residential facilities and community settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, planning, and assessment of all aspects of the allied health program.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist
  • Previous experience working in aged care, preferably in a similar role
  • A sound understanding of people living with dementia and/or complex care needs
  • A passion for working with older adults and delivering person-centred care interventions
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments of residents' allied health needs
  • Developing and implementing allied health programs that promote an individualised approach
  • Partnering with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and support staff
  • Maintaining accurate care plans and providing expert advice to frontline care staff
  • Promoting a positive ageing experience for older people through education and awareness
  • Attending and actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences
