The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Art and Creative Industries curriculum and program, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and objectives.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of high-quality, engaging art and creative education to our secondary school students.
- Lead, develop and mentor a team of art and creative industries teachers.
- Foster a creative and collaborative learning environment that encourages student innovation and exploration.
- Coordinate art exhibitions, performances and other creative showcases to celebrate student achievements.
What we're looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Fine Arts, Visual Arts or a related creative discipline, with proven experience teaching at the secondary school level.
- Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing a high-performing art and creative industries program and team.
- Excellent knowledge of the Victorian curriculum and experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students, staff and the wider school community.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in art and creative education.
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and a commitment to professional development.
