Job Title: Production Formulation Specialist

Job Description:

The Production Formulation Specialist is responsible for the preparation of raw materials and ingredients needed for formulation. This involves adhering to standard practices across the whole process, including accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing raw ingredients, operating blending machines, and checking stock.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing production equipment in line with quality standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing raw ingredients
  • Operating blending machines
  • Checking stock and reviewing production schedules
  • Ensuring formulation processes are followed accurately to produce high-quality batches
  • Complying with general safety guidelines and those prescribed for each new formulation
  • Packaging and labeling finished goods
  • Completing associated documentation for each new blend
  • Recording orders for traceability and dispatch to the warehouse team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in manufacturing/formulation/raw ingredients preparation
  • Working knowledge and experience in the food industry (raw ingredients) advantageous
  • A forklift license would be advantageous
