Perioperative Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse to undertake a 12-month specialist year in Main Operating Services, within the Anaesthetic and PACU nursing team.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to expand your existing knowledge and become a proficient member of the Anaesthetic nursing team. You will be supported with clinical guidance, study days and access to operating services education mornings.
As an anaesthetic nurse, you will play a dual role that encompasses both the perioperative nurse and the assistant for the anaesthetist. Working collaboratively as a member of the anaesthetic team, you will be an integral part of the overall perioperative management of the vulnerable patient in a high acuity environment.
In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and facilitate a smooth handover from the operating room.
