We are looking for an experienced and compassionate nurse to join our team at St Peter's Lane Cove. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing high-quality care.

You will be responsible for delivering direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures. This includes assessing and responding to their physical and emotional needs, as well as supporting their overall health and wellbeing.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise and compassion will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for all.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar qualification is essential for this role.
  • You must have thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes is also required.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues, is necessary.
  • Good coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence are also important attributes for success in this role.
  • A strong customer-centric approach to business is essential for delivering excellent patient outcomes.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be willing to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
