Job Opportunity: Medical Imaging Support Staff

We are seeking a diligent and compassionate individual to provide assistance to hospital patients attending for medical imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient movement in the medical imaging service area and the hospital as required
  • Support general clinic tasks and other duties as directed by technical/clerical/medical staff
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care
  • Maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers
Requirements:
  • Able to handle patient care with compassion and tact, maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with the public and colleagues
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a diagnostic health team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Meet relevant NSW Health workplace requirements, including occupational assessment, screening & vaccination against specified infectious diseases
