Medical Laboratory Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic professional to fill the role of Medical Laboratory Technician.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.

  • Deliver high-quality clinical chemistry investigations and tests (manual and automated)
  • Prepare materials and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Contribute to quality and safety in laboratories

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a range of clinical chemistry laboratory investigations and tests in a fast-paced multitasking environment, applying established methods and procedures as directed.

A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills is essential for this role.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering pathology services within a relevant discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a temporary full-time position with potential availability of ongoing employment.
