Job Description

Your care is pivotal in moving patients forward.

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate professional to join our dynamic Surgical Services team. As a vital member of the Peri-Operative team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of theatre procedures.

  1. Prepare all theatre equipment and bed accessories for daily procedures.
  2. Assist in safely positioning and transferring patients to recovery and wards.
  3. Be responsible for Priority One cleaning of the Peri-Operative environment.
  4. Maintain linen supplies and assist with linen ordering, collecting, and unpacking stores.
  5. Perform moderate manual handling of sedated patients in accordance with training and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Theatre Equipment Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment is prepared for daily procedures.
  • Patient Care: Assist in safely positioning and transferring patients to recovery and wards.
  • Cleaning and Linen Management: Be responsible for Priority One cleaning of the Peri-Operative environment and maintain linen supplies.
  • Manual Handling: Perform moderate manual handling of sedated patients in accordance with training and protocols.

About This Role

Comprehensive orientation and hands-on training will be provided by experienced professionals. Ongoing mandatory education will be supported, with a focus on aseptic technique, manual handling, and the peri-operative environment.
