About the Role

ASC is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team at Osborne SA. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in establishing and continually improving our estimating capability in a complex and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop estimates and quotations for diverse and challenging submarine projects from the design phase through to implementation and maintenance.
  • Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, supply chain, and production specialists to ensure accurate and logical analysis and collation of data.
  • Produce accurate and meaningful estimate documentation, including development of analogous, parametric, bottom-up, and three-point estimates.
  • Collect data from relevant corporate systems and stakeholders, and analyze it to understand the estimate and determine solutions.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable competency with minimum 5 years project experience and sound knowledge of estimating, planning, scheduling, and work breakdown structures concepts.
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in estimating maintenance/construction or engineering.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience in estimating software and Primavera P6.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical and logical thought processes, critical thinking, and a high level of attention to detail.
