Transform Your Career in Project Accounting

We are seeking a skilled project accountant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating month-end accruals and project accounting reporting processes with detailed budget and forecast analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly, forecast, and budget aspects of capex reporting in collaboration with offshore project managers.
  • Support annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including data establishment, stakeholder management, and outcome analysis.
  • Work closely with project managers to achieve budget and forecast targets while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Provide stakeholder management and client engagement support, including attendance at client meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement through identification and implementation of reporting, process, and control enhancements.
  • Support systems implementation and operations while maintaining data integrity between finance systems (JD Edwards) and key platforms.
  • Manage ad-hoc queries and support compliance with regulatory policies while ensuring finance-related contract KPIs are met.

Requirements:

  • Be an Australian citizen to comply with the client's requirements.
  • Hold at least 3+ years post-qualification experience (CA or CPA).
  • Have project accounting experience.
  • Possess advanced financial analytical and reporting skills with accounting or finance function experience.
  • Be proficient in Excel, including financial modeling and analysis capabilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Display demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex deliverables with competing timelines.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail with strategic thinking abilities and capacity to solve complex problems and work with ambiguity.
