
Chief Financial Officer

This role involves providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of clients, from start-up and family-owned businesses to medium-sized corporates. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing special purpose financial statements with clear and concise work papers.
Additionally, the candidate will prepare income tax returns for different entities and perform period end accounting and compliance review.
They will also support and review junior staff work as appropriate, perform basic tax planning for clients, and maintain and develop client relationships and provide business services support.
- CA or CPA Qualification or currently studying;
- 3+ years demonstrated local accounting experience;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well and build relationships;
- Attention to detail and proactive approach to work;
- Team player committed to supporting team members;
- Positive attitude and willingness to succeed;
- Familiarity with MYOB, Xero, Spotlight and Fathom, MS Office
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
They will also have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
