Construction Finishes Foreman

Gough Recruitment AU is seeking an experienced Construction Finishes Foreman to lead a team of skilled tradespeople on construction sites, ensuring high-quality and safe completion of finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of finishing work on construction sites, ensuring successful completion of tasks within established timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the finishing crew, including carpenters, painters, drywall installers, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure that finishing work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Plan and schedule work activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to the team members.
  • Monitor the progress of work and make adjustments as necessary to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any defects or issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address and resolve any construction-related challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Construction Finishes Foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry (3 + years).
  • Apartment experience is highly valued.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
