Senior Health and Safety Inspector
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Inspector to join our team in making a positive impact on the health and safety of Queensland workplaces.
- The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on improving health and safety in agricultural settings.
- Key responsibilities include investigating workplace fatalities, serious injuries, and illnesses, as well as educating employees and employers on their legal obligations.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strength in written communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven experience in applying workplace health and safety protocols within community or regulatory enforcement environments is highly desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the reduction of work-related fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in Queensland.
As a Senior Health and Safety Inspector, you will play a crucial role in enforcing work health and safety laws, investigating workplace incidents, and educating workplaces on compliance with legislation.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of recommendations from the Best Practice Review of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrated strength in written communication, time management, and the ability to build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience in applying workplace health and safety protocols within community or regulatory enforcement environments is highly desirable.
- Resilience and be a confident communicator, capable of navigating challenging conversations and situations with professionalism.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to the safety of Queenslanders by being part of a proactive team.
