DevOps Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Perth-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using automation and modern tools to improve engineering processes.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our development and deployment environments.

You will work closely with software development teams to automate and optimize CI/CD processes, manage cloud infrastructure, and enhance system reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices
  • Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Develop tools to monitor cloud spend and enforce budget-aware practices
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, deployment, and monitoring
  • Automate operational tasks and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong DevOps mindset and technical know-how to the table. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred) and proficiency in IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation) is essential.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong previous experience as a DevOps engineer (or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps
  • Exposure to mining or resources sector is a bonus
