With a strong focus on local news and stories, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and delivering high-quality content that resonates with our diverse audience. From breaking news to community events, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the conversation and bringing the region's stories to life.

As a skilled storyteller, you will be expected to identify and develop compelling local stories that reflect the unique character of the Goldfields and Esperance region. You will also conduct interviews and facilitate on-air discussions with community members, experts, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of local and national digital news coverage.

Collaborating closely with the news team, you will engage with the audience through various platforms, including social media and community events, to build relationships and foster a sense of community.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the local community, and a commitment to delivering high-quality journalism. Experience in radio broadcasting, storytelling, and content production is essential, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
