About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Producer to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and Create Content: Develop compelling local stories that reflect the unique character of the Goldfields and Esperance region, researching and writing on-air content for early programs.
  • Conduct Interviews: Facilitate on-air discussions with community members, experts, and stakeholders, conducting interviews to bring regional stories to life.
  • Collaborate with News Team: Work seamlessly with the news team to ensure integration of local and national digital news coverage, collaborating to deliver high-quality journalism.
  • Engage with Audience: Interact with the audience through various platforms, including social media and community events, engaging with local communities in a meaningful way.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the local community, and a commitment to delivering high-quality journalism. Experience in radio broadcasting, storytelling, and content production is essential, along with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
