The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to assist in the injury management associated with work-related and non-work-related cases within PACCAR Australia.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely management of workers' compensation claims. Your primary responsibility will be to provide proactive case management for injured employees, focusing on early intervention and return-to-work strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on workplace rehabilitation best practices to ensure compliance with relevant state legislation.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure efficient and timely management of all workers' compensation claims.
  • Analyse incident and injury trends to develop and implement risk management programs.
About You
  • You have experience in managing WorkCover claims, with a proven track record of accelerating employee return to work and reducing costs.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of Victorian OHS and WorkCover legislation and regulations.
  • Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Return to Work) or similar qualification is desirable.
  • You are willing to obtain RTW Coordinator Training Course accreditation developed and endorsed by WorkSafe.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate flexibility, responsiveness, and initiative in a dynamic and challenging environment.
