
Data Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role with flexible location in NSW, QLD, or VIC.
The initial contract will be 3-6 months fixed term. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business success.
- Action end-user issues and requests in a timely, transparent, and customer-centred manner.
- Communicate system outages and provide status updates on the resolution of outages.
You will maintain a strong working knowledge of information systems to end processes, workflow, data structures, and end-user permissions. Engage stakeholders to assess and determine business needs and develop data collection strategies and timelines.
Develop, construct, test, and maintain sound, secure data collection systems to ensure the collection/provision of required information for HSE performance and other business needs.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using languages and software such as SQL, VBA, and business intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, Power BI, or other).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to organize and synthesise large datasets and use data to identify patterns and problems and formulate solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and tools, including Microsoft 365 products and advanced Excel. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or other technical fields is highly desirable.
