We offer a highly competitive salary of AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Global Investment Services Director, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and client engagement across the Westpac Group. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships. This will involve:

  • Developing and executing client and prospect engagement plans to generate, close, and replenish client opportunity pipelines
  • Presentation of investment opportunities to small and large groups of clients and stakeholders
  • Leading the engagement of clients at ongoing investment reviews

You will partner closely with our private banking team and stakeholders across other business units to drive a collaborative approach to acquiring new clients and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Strong sales experience and track record of client engagement and management in financial markets/funds management/HNW segment
  • Investment expertise in asset classes across fixed income and/or Equities
  • Experience in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth is desired
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk management
