Cloud Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Specialist to lead the deployment and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions in production environments. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with VMware technologies, strong knowledge of VCF, and excellent problem-solving skills.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals in Melbourne, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy virtual machines (VMs) and clusters to meet business needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end deployment and implementation of VMware VCF solutions.
  • Create detailed test cases to cover functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide high-level support for system-related issues and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on VMware VCF and align solutions with customer business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with VMware technologies in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and experience deploying full-stack solutions on VCF.
  • Technical proficiency with virtualization, cloud technologies, and enterprise infrastructure components.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as VMware Aria Suite, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in VMware environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools.
