The role offers the chance to shape Perth's event landscape, create strong partnerships, and deliver experiences that leave a lasting mark on residents and visitors alike.

The Job Description:

This is a leadership role that involves crafting and delivering an events strategy that attracts visitors, strengthens the local economy, and adds value to the community.

You will oversee all aspects of event planning and delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective risk management. You will also build and manage sponsorships and collaborations that extend reach and create value for the City and its stakeholders.

Additionally, you will manage budgets and resources with a clear focus on outcomes and financial sustainability.

About This Opportunity:

  • Deliver major events and sponsorships with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in events, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Have strong business acumen, including strategic planning, budgeting, and governance knowledge.
