At KPMG, we are seeking a skilled Tax Advisory Expert to join our Business & Tax team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for review by senior accountants and managers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements for all entities, including sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Preparation of income tax returns for all entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Preparation of business activity statements for review by senior accountants and managers.
  • Processing of journals into client software.
  • Contacting the ATO in relation to various client matters, including payment arrangements.
  • Review and sorting of client information.
  • Assistance with research for the preparation of advice and file notes.

What We're Looking For

  • CA or Part CA equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field.
  • Relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal qualities.
  • Ability to present confidently.
  • Display of initiative and enthusiasm for creating innovative solutions in a changing world of service delivery.
