This is a key leadership opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the implementation and delivery of critical procurement systems within a Queensland Government department.

About the Role:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of procurement systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes, utilizing expertise in risk management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and implementation partners to drive successful delivery, leveraging agile methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement procurement systems, including VendorPanel and SAP FieldGlass.
  2. Migrate data, configure systems, and standardize processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Develop and execute change management strategies, using ADKAR or similar approaches, to drive stakeholder engagement and adoption.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to ensure smooth transition to new platforms.
  5. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to facilitate successful delivery.

As a successful candidate, you will bring a strong background in project management, with experience in procurement systems, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relationship management. You will be highly regarded for Agile PM certification, PMP, or similar qualifications.
