This is a fantastic opportunity to drive process improvement and digital transformation in the delivery and implementation of the Queensland Procurement Solution. The successful candidate will lead a project to improve procurement systems, manage vendor relationships, and drive data migration and process standardisation.
About the Role:
The role involves scoping, planning, and delivering the procurement systems project. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and vendors to achieve project objectives. Your key responsibilities will include managing vendor, partner, and stakeholder relationships, leading change activities across business units, driving data migration and process standardisation, and overseeing governance, reporting, and risk management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience delivering procurement or enterprise system projects. You must have a proven track record of managing vendors and implementation partners, applying agile project methodologies, managing risk, and resolving issues. A strong ability to digitise and streamline processes is also essential. Additionally, you should have experience engaging stakeholders across functions and preparing clear project reporting and updates.
Desirable Skills:
Demonstrated success delivering Vendor Panel or SAP Field Glass projects is highly desirable. Proven capability improving procurement or ERP processes is also highly valued. Experience applying ADKAR or other structured change models is also an advantage. A strong history of uplifting data integrity and governance practices is also desirable.
