About the Role

This position plays a vital role in the reinsurance market, focusing on life and health insurance in Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely actuarial pricing analyses of group insurance/reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing and reviewing documents for new business and renewals
  • Providing actuarial input to teams for product terms and conditions advice
  • Maintaining actuarial pricing models, including loss ratio and credibility models
  • Staying up-to-date with market research and reports on group insurance experience analyses and market developments

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in the life insurance industry
  • Knowledge of group insurance products and market trends
  • High proficiency in actuarial modelling techniques
