About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Venue Manager to lead our Grain of the Silos restaurant team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving sales growth through effective revenue management strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Grain of the Silos, with a primary focus on evening service.
  • Collaborate with local producers to source high-quality ingredients and develop menus that showcase the best of Tasmania's food scene.
  • Leverage your wine knowledge to provide expert recommendations and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an upscale a la carte operation, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, revenue analysis, and cost control.
  • A current TAS RSA certificate and a high standard of grooming and presentation.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $70,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as the chance to work with a dynamic and innovative hospitality group.

The successful candidate will be based in Launceston, Tasmania, and will be required to work a combination of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
