Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer will play a vital role in supporting the leadership team by providing accurate financial and data-driven insights. As a dynamic CFO, you will be required to connect with decision-makers, understand their needs, and deliver the information and tools required to make sound organisational decisions.

You'll oversee financial management, IT, analytics, and deliver reports to the Board. This hands-on role will require you to adapt and step into various responsibilities, ensuring success in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership across finance, IT, and data analytics functions.
  • Support and develop administration and finance staff.
  • Collaborate closely with decision-makers to deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop and deliver robust financial reporting to the Board and leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Drive innovation in analytics, supporting evidence-based strategic planning.
  • Balance operational tasks with strategic contributions.

About You

We are seeking a collaborative leader who thrives on analytics and data-driven decision making, enjoys problem solving and building strong relationships. With a flexible and adaptable approach, you are comfortable managing both high-level strategy and hands-on tasks.

This role is suited to a Finance and Administration Manager looking for a step up or an experienced CFO happy to pitch in. Minimum of formal accounting qualifications and CPA or CA qualification and proficiency in XERO and advanced analytics tools are required.
