Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Central Services Laboratory. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate preparation and analysis of metallurgical and plant samples.
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor – Production, you will work on a 4 day/4 night shift roster based in Mount Isa. Your primary focus will be on supporting the laboratory's commitment to provide assays to plant areas across the mining lease.
Key responsibilities will include collecting, preparing, and analyzing a range of samples using various analytical techniques. A minimum of two years' experience in a similar environment is desirable, although training and development will be offered to the successful candidate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an Australian manual driver's license and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
